Job summary

Rheem Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Service Supervisor to lead a team of Field Service Technicians in the plumbing, refrigeration or electrical trades. The role focuses on efficient service delivery, technical support and guiding service providers across sites in Brisbane and surrounding areas.

You will oversee scheduling, training and quality outcomes, ensure adherence to safety standards, and quote installation work.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a field service or trades team.
• Proven ability to support technicians with complex service issues.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all field service work is carried out in an efficient and effective manner
• Assist and support technicians resolving service technical difficulties
• Conduct regular site visits, monthly meetings and help resolve dispute/customer complaints
• Quote major types of installation work for Rheem products
• Ensure all field staff are sufficiently trained in installing and servicing Rheem products within their qualifications
• Report product faults to the Service Manager and relevant stakeholders
• Ensure field staff levels meet the desired requirements for service call demands
• Provide support and liaise with Service Agents including regular visits for training
• Carry out regular inspections of general service vehicles
• Maintain a high level of commitment to Rheem Corporate, Quality & WHS procedures

About the role

An opportunity has become available for a Supervisor to join our WA Service team based in Welshpool. Reporting to the WA Service Manager you will be responsible for a team of 5 Field Service Technicians as well as provide support, technical assistance and training to the states network of Service Providers and appointed Service Agents.

You will:

• Ensure all field service work is carried out in an efficient and effective manner
• Assist and support technicians resolving service technical difficulties
• Conduct regular site visits, monthly meetings and help resolve dispute/customer complaints
• Quote major types of installation work for Rheem Products
• Ensure all field staff are sufficiently trained in being able to install and service Rheem products that fall within their qualifications
• Report Product faults to the Service Manager and relevant stakeholders
• Ensure that field staff levels meet the desired requirements for service call demands
• Provide support and liaise with Service Agents including regular visits for training
• Carry out regular inspections of general service vehicles
• Maintain a high level of commitment to Rheem Corporate, Quality & WHS procedures

About you

We are looking for someone who is committed, motivated, energetic, and reliable. You will ideally have:

• Trade qualifications in either Refrigeration or Plumbing
• Additional electrical licence or at minimum a Restricted Electrical licence
• People leadership experience
• Comfortable with the use of electronic communication/information devices.

As you progress through the process, you will be required to complete a pre-employment medical in addition to background and reference checks.
