Albury Mazda is expanding to a brand new 7-bay workshop and seeks a Service Manager to lead from day one. The role is ideal for someone stepping up from Assistant Service Manager, Workshop Controller, or Foreman, with the drive to own a department.
You will report to the Dealer Principal, receive direct mentoring, and shape the culture of a brand new facility while ensuring service targets are met and the team grows together.
Albury Mazda is a family-owned dealership, and on 1 January 2027 we move into our brand new facility at 90 North Street, Albury. We’re growing from a 5-bay workshop to 7 bays, and we’re looking for a Service Manager to lead it.
This role is built for someone who’s ready to move up. You might be an Assistant Service Manager, Workshop Controller or Workshop Foreman, or a qualified tech who’s already been leading a team. You don’t need to have been a Service Manager before. You do need to be ready to own the role.
You’ll report directly to the Dealer Principal, whose office is right next door to yours. That means real, day-to-day mentoring from someone heavily involved in the service operation. The responsibility and accountability are yours from day one, with genuine support behind you while you grow into it.
You’ll also have the chance to help shape the culture of a brand new workshop. We like to have fun and muck around a bit, but the work gets done every day.
You don’t need the title on your resume. Maybe you’re an Assistant Service Manager, a Workshop Controller, or a tech who’s already the one the team looks to. What you need is the drive to own a department from day one, with the Dealer Principal in the office next door backing you every step of the way.
