Job summary

Albury Mazda is expanding to a brand new 7-bay workshop and seeks a Service Manager to lead from day one. The role is ideal for someone stepping up from Assistant Service Manager, Workshop Controller, or Foreman, with the drive to own a department.

You will report to the Dealer Principal, receive direct mentoring, and shape the culture of a brand new facility while ensuring service targets are met and the team grows together.

Qualifications

• Trade certification (Cert III Light Vehicle) or equivalent.
• Experience as Workshop Controller, Foreman or Assistant Service Manager.
• Experience leading a team of technicians.
• Comfort dealing with customers, including difficult conversations.
• Results-focused with Monday–Friday hours.

Responsibilities

• Running the workshop to hit KPIs and profitability targets.
• Leading, rostering and developing the team.
• Handling customer concerns calmly and fairly.
• Driving MSI scores - Customer Satisfaction.
• Budgeting and recruitment.
• Helping set up and settle the team into the new facility.
