Job summary

Velocity Truck Centres Burpengary is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead the Service Department and drive service excellence. You will oversee day-to-day operations, coach technicians and advisors, and partner with Parts, Sales and leadership to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience within a dealership service department.
• Proven track record of developing teams and delivering business results.
• Strong understanding of service operations and customer service.
• Collaborative, people-first leadership style.
• Experience with commercial vehicles, trucks, or heavy equipment is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead all day-to-day Service Department operations.
• Drive a customer-first culture focused on service excellence.
• Coach, develop and support Service Advisors, Workshop Supervisors and technicians.
• Monitor productivity, efficiency and financial performance targets.
• Build strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Work closely with Parts, Sales and dealership leadership teams.
• Champion safety, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Help position Burpengary as the dealership of choice for truck and commercial vehicle customers across the region.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable and high-performing team culture.
