Velocity Truck Centres Australia, part of Velocity Vehicle Group, is recruiting a qualified PD Technician/Auto Electrician for the Daimler Trucks Adelaide dealership in Regency Park. This hands-on role covers new vehicle builds, electrical fit-outs, modifications and repairs with factory training and leadership support.

You’ll work across OEM brand electrical systems, with strong safety standards and opportunities for career growth within a national dealership network.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology required.
• HR licence (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience with heavy commercial vehicles.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.
• Reliable, adaptable and motivated to learn.

Responsibilities

• Complete pre-delivery inspections and prepare new vehicles to OEM standards.
• Fit accessories and carry out electrical installations on heavy vehicles.
• Perform diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Modify chassis and fabricate components as required.
• Identify and report additional faults, ensuring accurate repair documentation.
• Maintain quality standards, including final inspections and presentation of vehicles.
• Coordinate parts requirements and manage warranty or exchange components.
• Safely operate heavy vehicles and workshop equipment, including forklifts.

We’re looking for a qualified PD Technician/ Auto Electrician who is looking for stability, variety and genuine career pathways at our Daimler Trucks Adelaide dealership based in Regency Park. This is a hands-on, varied role where no two days are the same.
