Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia is seeking an experienced Service Manager to lead the Emerald Service Department in Queensland. You will be responsible for the department's P&L, budgets, forecasts, safety, and overall performance in a fast-paced mining and construction context.

The role requires a Cert III trade qualification and proven leadership of large service teams, with strong commercial and analytical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Cert III trade qualification in diesel fitting or mobile plant.
• Demonstrated leadership of large service or maintenance teams in mining/construction.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the service team with hands-on management.
• Own the department P&L, budgets, forecasting and financial performance.
• Drive commercial outcomes and productivity across workshop and field service operations.
