Job summary

Aveo is seeking a Service Coordinator for Peregian Springs Country Club in Queensland. This permanent part-time role covers rosters with overnight sleepovers, supporting residents, and maintaining a warm, connected community.

You will assist with meals, admin, events and incident response, ensuring a safe, friendly village experience. The successful candidate will engage with residents, coordinate activities, and adapt to 24/7 staffing while delivering quality service and care on a dedicated

The Opportunity

Peregian Springs Country Club is a stunning retirement living community that is home to 230+ independent living units and is moments from the Peregian Springs Golf Club. As a Service Coordinator you will provide key support be a trusted and friendly presence within the village, supporting residents and assisting with day-to‑day needs, enquiries, and incidents. You’ll enjoy being part of a lively community and thrive in a role with variety and strong resident connection. With our villages operating around the clock, flexible availability is required, including overnight shifts when needed.

This is a permanent part‑time position working the following roster:

Week 1: Friday (4:00pm-9:00pm followed by a sleepover shift until 7:00am); Saturday (1:30pm-9:00pm followed by a sleepover shift until 7:00am) and Sunday (1:30pm-9:00pm followed by a sleepover shift until 7:00am)

Week 2: Saturday and Sunday (7:00am-1:30pm)

Your Impact

• Supporting café and kitchen teams during meal services to create an enjoyable dining experience
• Provide general admin and concierge services to residents and assist with any resident requestssuch as creating resident newsletters, event flyers and helping communicate activities and updates
• Be the first responder to any village issues that arise including emergency calls, safety & security issues and providing first aid where needed
• Coordinate fun, social and inclusiveactivitiesfor the residents
• Providing all‑rounder support across the village, including light domestic duties and maintaining shared spaces to a high standard
• Assisting with administrative tasks such as creating resident newsletters, event flyers and helping communicate activities and updates

What you will bring

• Experience delivering great customer service in a community‑focused environment (e.g. background in hospitality, retail, aged care or administration)
• A welcoming and dependable nature, with confidence working autonomously
• Flexibility to assist with ad hoc duties across the village, including amenities upkeep, food and beverage support, and basic admin tasks
• Confidence and responsibility to manage incidents and support residents during overnight stays
• Adaptable and flexible with rostering and shift arrangements as we staff our communities 24 hours a day
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to employment)

What we offer

• Friday Rate: $30.34/hr+ superannuation+ relevant award entitlements including penalty rates,overtimeand allowances
• Saturday Rate: $45.51/hr+ superannuation+ relevant award entitlements including penalty rates,overtimeand allowances
