Job summary

Aveo currently seeks a Domestic Attendant for Lindsay Gardens Retirement Living in Buderim. You will provide essential housekeeping and cleaning services across the village with a welcoming, resident-focused attitude.

This permanent part-time role runs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am to 2pm (hours negotiable for the right candidate). You will be part of a friendly team dedicated to supporting residents’ independence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, laundry or similar service-focused roles.
• A positive, respectful and people‑focused approach.
• The ability to work confidently and independently while managing daily tasks and priorities.
• Minimum of two (2) COVID-19 vaccinations (required)

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-quality cleaning standards across apartments or village common areas, including bathrooms, hallways, stairwells and rooms.
• Build positive relationships as a friendly and approachable presence at the village.
• Assist residents and the community with general ad-hoc tasks as required.
• Follow all OH&S requirements and promptly report any safety or security concerns.

The Opportunity

Lindsay Gardens Retirement Living is a peaceful retirement community set across seven acres of beautifully landscaped grounds in Buderim. As a Domestic Attendant, you will provide essential housekeeping and cleaning services across the village while delivering a welcoming and customer-focused experience for residents. You’ll be part of a friendly, people-focused team where you will have the opportunity to build meaningful connections with residents.

This is a permanent part-time position working Monday; Tuesday; Thursday & Friday 9am-2pm (Hours to be negotiated for the right candidate)
