Job summary

Morson Edge Australia is seeking an experienced Service Coordinator to join the Sydney service team. You will coordinate technicians, manage work orders from start to finish, and ensure timely completion across commercial sites.

Prior fire protection industry experience and Uptick familiarity are essential. This permanent full-time role focuses on coordinating preventative, planned and reactive maintenance, with strong organizational and communication skills required to manage multiple

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Service Coordinator, Fire Coordinator, Scheduler or similar role within the fire protection industry.
• Strong hands-on Uptick experience coordinating ongoing service, maintenance and routine testing works.
• Confidence scheduling multiple technicians across a busy service environment.
• Good understanding of fire service terminology and maintenance workflows.
• Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Confident communication with technicians, subcontractors and clients.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow jobs from initial work order to completion.

Responsibilities

• Raising purchase orders and coordinating subcontractor requirements
• Following up technicians for reports, job updates and outstanding works
• Assisting with invoicing queries and service administration
• Communicating with clients regarding scheduling, access and job progress
• Supporting the wider service team to ensure maintenance commitments and deadlines are met

Service Coordinator – Fire Protection Sydney, NSW

An established and growing fire protection contractor is looking for an experienced Service Coordinator to join its Sydney service team. This is a key coordination role supporting the delivery of ongoing service, maintenance and routine testing works across a portfolio of commercial buildings, high‑rise properties and shopping centres. We are specifically looking for someone who already understands the fire protection industry. You will be coordinating technicians, and service works from initial work order through to completion, so previous fire industry experience and hands‑on Uptick experience are essential.

The Role
