Qualifications

With a strong focus on customer service, excellence and efficiency, We're seeking an organised and enthusiastic Service Coordinator to join our service team.

About you:

The Service Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the efficient delivery of services and support to customers and internal teams. This position is responsible for planning, scheduling and completion of all maintenance tasks including supporting administrative processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Carryout operational planning and scheduling of all maintenance tasks, such as:

• Allocate schedules efficiently based on urgency, technician availability, and location.
• Monitor job progress and ensure timely service delivery.
• Maintain scheduling software and job logs.
• Communicate with customers to confirm schedules, gather job details, and resolve issues.
• Act as the communication bridge between office, field, and customer.
• Ensure customer expectations are clearly understood and communicated to technicians.
• Create and submit quotations.
• Create, collate and submit Annual Fire Safety Statements (AFSS) documentation.
• Complete any additional administrative tasks assigned to you.
• Maintain collaborative working relationships and establish effective communication with key stakeholders (internal & external) to ensure client requirements are met.
• Assist with the preparation and delivery of reports relating to the scheduling and planning of all planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Adhere to bid strategy (new contracts or contract amendments) and management of timelines to ensure deliverables are met within submission deadlines.
• Actively promote the PFPS’s values and apply all relevant workplace policies and procedures.

Knowledge / Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in the Fire Services Industry or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in the collation and submission of Annual Fire Safety Statements (AFSS).
• Demonstrated experience in computer literacy, and Uptick
