Job summary

Epiroc is seeking a Service Manager for Mackay, QLD to oversee day-to-day operations and management of Epiroc equipment and resources at the customer site, ensuring seamless service delivery and operational excellence.

You will lead service teams, manage costs, and drive performance while upholding safety, quality, and EPC standards. This role offers strong career growth in a global mining leader.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining surface/underground mining equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer expectations and consistently deliver outstanding service.
• Oversee daily activities to meet business objectives and ensure timely service delivery.
• Manage service job costs, including labor and resource allocation.
• Monitor and manage work in progress to ensure project milestones are met.
• Prepare and submit reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Adhere to OHS, Quality, and Environmental policies, both for Epiroc and our customers.
• Complete KPI-related tasks and provide regular reporting on performance.
• Perform other administrative duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Key Requirements:

• Mechanical trade qualifications or equivalent
• Proven leadership and people management skills
• Extensive experience in maintaining surface/underground mining equipment, hydraulic repairs, diagnostics, and low-voltage electrical repairs
• Experience in both preventative and breakdown maintenance
• Strong customer service skills with a professional and proactive approach
• High level of computer literacy and administrative skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
