Job summary

AOE RV Service Centre in Burpengary, QLD, is seeking an experienced Service Centre Manager to lead day-to-day workshop operations, coordinate a team of technicians and deliver an outstanding customer experience.

You will partner with The Auscamper Group Warranty Team to schedule and book warranty repairs, manage bookings, quotes, parts, and documentation, and drive continuous improvement in safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Experience in caravan, camper trailer, RV or automotive service is preferred.
• Experience managing a busy service centre or workshop is required.
• Strong knowledge of caravan servicing, repairs, accessories and warranty processes is essential.
• Experience leading and allocating work to technicians or tradespeople is required.
• Excellent customer-service and communication skills are essential.
• Strong organisation, scheduling and time-management abilities are expected.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment is important.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of service technicians.
• Manage customer bookings for servicing, repairs, warranty work and accessory installations.
• Schedule approved warranty repairs with The Auscamper Group Warranty Team.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing the day-to-day workflow of the Service Centre, leading a team of technicians and delivering an excellent experience for our customers.

You will also work closely with The Auscamper Group Warranty Team to coordinate and book warranty repairs for caravans and camper trailers.

About the role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, supporting and coordinating a team of service technicians
• Managing customer bookings for servicing, repairs, warranty work and accessory installations
• Working closely with The Auscamper Group Warranty Team to schedule approved warranty repairs
• Assessing incoming service requests and gathering the required information from customers
• Planning the daily and weekly workshop schedule
• Allocating work based on technician availability, experience and workload
• Monitoring jobs to ensure they are completed efficiently and to a high standard
• Keeping customers informed about booking dates, repair progress, delays and completion times
• Preparing quotes and obtaining customer approval before additional work is completed
• Coordinating the ordering and availability of parts and accessories
• Reviewing completed work and supporting final quality-control checks
• Maintaining accurate job cards, customer records, photographs and supporting documentation
• Managing warranty documentation and communicating repair outcomes to the relevant warranty team
• Identifying workflow issues and implementing practical improvements
• Monitoring team productivity, workshop performance and agreed KPIs
• Ensuring the workshop is maintained as a safe, clean and professional working environment
• Promoting a positive team culture focused on accountability, workmanship and customer service
• Assisting with escalated customer concerns and finding practical, professional solutions

About you

To succeed in this position, you will ideally have:

• Previous experience within the caravan, camper trailer, RV or automotive service industry
• Experience managing or coordinating a busy service centre or workshop
• Strong knowledge of caravan servicing, repairs, accessories and warranty processes
• Experience leading and allocating work to technicians or tradespeople
• Excellent customer-service and communication skills
• Strong organisation, scheduling and time-management abilities
• The ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Confidence handling customer concerns and resolving issues professionally
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping skills
• Sound computer skills and the ability to learn booking, warranty and business systems
• A practical, solutions-focused approach
• A commitment to workplace safety, quality workmanship and team accountability
• A current Australian driver licence & experience in towing

Trade qualifications or hands-on technical experience would be highly regarded but are not essential for the right candidate with strong caravan industry and service-management experience.
