Job summary

Recruit Shop Pty Ltd is seeking a Caravan Service Technician in Melrose Park, SA to join a growing service team. This full-time role (38 hours/week) focuses on caravan repairs, diagnostics and 12V electrical work, reporting to the Service Manager as part of a small, skilled team.

Key requirements include a current driver's licence, 12V experience, and competence with hand, air and power tools. Experience in caravan mechanics is highly advantageous and overtime/weekend work is available.

Qualifications

• Current driver's licence is required.

• Experience and competence using hand, air and power tools of all types.
• Trade background or caravan mechanical experience highly advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting ability to determine causes of operating errors and develop solutions.

About The Opportunity

Due to overwhelming demand, our client is seeking a self-motivated Caravan Service Technician to support their rapidly growing Service Department.

Reporting directly to the Service Manager, you will work within a small team of skilled technicians on a diverse range of caravan repairs. Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing parts and accessories
• Pre-delivery of new and used caravans
• Servicing brakes and bearings on caravans
• Diagnosing problems and carrying out repairs and maintenance
• Installing, diagnosing and repairing 12V electrical systems and components

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, with regular overtime and Saturday work.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• A current driver's licence
• 12V experience preferred
• Experience and competence using hand, air and power tools of all types
• A trade background or previous caravan mechanical experience highly advantageous
• Strong troubleshooting ability to determine causes of operating errors and develop solutions
