HMPS Propac is seeking a Service and Parts Coordinator in Adelaide to manage parts orders, sales orders, and invoicing, ensuring smooth service operations from customer contact to job close-out. You will work with technicians, stores, and customers to source parts and track service jobs.
We welcome applicants from varied backgrounds, including trades or customer service, and value organisational skills, proactive teamwork, and a genuine interest in industrial packaging or automation environments.
HMPS is looking for a Service and Parts Coordinator to join our Adelaide team. This is a central, hands-on role that keeps our service operations running smoothly from first customer contact through to job close-out and invoicing.
This is a role where your organisational skills, customer communication, and attention to detail matter every day. You will work closely with our Product Service Manager, field service technicians, stores, and customers, making sure parts are sourced and dispatched, service jobs are tracked and completed, and our customers are kept informed throughout.
You don't need to have worked in packaging or industrial machinery before. What matters is that you're organised, switched-on, and genuinely interested in how things work. Whether you're early in your career, coming from a trade background, or bringing experience from customer service or counter sales, we're interested in talking to you.
You will bring strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities, along with clear and professional communication with customers and colleagues. Experience with ERP systems, order processing, or invoicing is an advantage, or simply the confidence to pick these up quickly. We're looking for someone with a proactive, team-oriented approach, a genuine customer focus, and an interest in industrial, manufacturing, or automation environments. A mechanical background is welcome but not required. Familiarity with machinery or equipment parts would be an advantage.
Founded in 1980, HMPS is one of Australia's leading designers and manufacturers of end-of-line packaging automation and industrial machinery. You will be supporting equipment that's designed and built in Australia and operating in some of the country's largest food and beverage facilities. Our brands, HMPS, Propac Industrial, Engi-O and Enmim, support manufacturers across Australia, New Zealand, and internationally.
With over 100 employees across Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, we offer a genuine team culture with real investment in our people, including leadership development, job shadowing, external training support, and financial assistance for tertiary study.
