Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Workday Payroll Implementation Principal Consultant to bridge business and technical teams, guiding transformation, implementation, and operation phases of a Workday project in Australia.

You will become a Workday Payroll product expert, gather requirements, design and test solutions, and coordinate with client teams and the integration group to ensure a smooth payroll rollout.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Workday functional implementation experience.
• Experience with HR, Payroll, or Financials modules.
• Ability to gather requirements, design, prototype, test and implement solutions.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; customer-focused.
• Willingness to travel on-site as needed.

Responsibilities

• Become a Workday Payroll product expert with design, config, testing, and implementation.
• Partner with clients to understand pain points and improve processes via Payroll.
• Architect cohesive Workday Payroll solutions across streams.
• Guide design sessions and configuration decisions with best practices.
• Support the client through all project phases, from legacy to Workday.
• Coordinate with the integration team to test Workday integrations.
