Cognizant is seeking a Workday Payroll Implementation Principal Consultant to bridge business and technical teams, guiding clients through transformation, implementation, and operation phases of a Workday deployment.

You will become a Workday Payroll product expert, design, configure, test, and implement solutions, and collaborate with clients to understand pain points while architecting cohesive payroll solutions across workstreams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Workday functional implementation experience.
• Experience in payroll implementation.
• Experience gathering requirements, designing, prototyping, testing and implementing business solutions.

Responsibilities

• Become a Workday Payroll product expert with knowledge of design, configuration, testing, and implementation.
• Partner with client to understand pain points, prioritise requirements and identify opportunities to improve processes.
• Architect Workday Payroll solutions ensuring cohesive cross-functional impacts.
• Recommend the best solution based on client requirements, budget and timeframe.
• Guide customers through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions.
• Engage and support the client through all project phases, ensuring smooth transfer from legacy systems.
• Work with the integration team to configure and test integrations between Workday and payroll providers.
• Perform tasks with limited direction, keeping stakeholders updated.
