Job summary

Lockheed Martin Australia is seeking a Verification & Validation Engineer to support the AIR6500 program, delivering robust V&V outcomes across complex systems in a digital engineering environment. You will drive verification across the lifecycle, ensure traceability, and collaborate with systems engineering, test, quality and program stakeholders.

The role requires an Engineering degree, significant V&V or systems engineering experience, and active Australian Defence security clearance.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Significant V&V, Systems Engineering, Integration or Test & Evaluation experience.
• Experience with MBSE tools (DOORS, Rhapsody, ETM) and Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Own and contribute to V&V artefacts including V&V Plans, VCRM, and Acceptance Test Plans.
• Plan and execute system-level verification activities across complex integrated environments.
• Maintain end-to-end traceability from requirements through to verification evidence.
• Support system integration and incremental verification for AIR6500 JABMS capability.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering, Test & Evaluation, Quality, and program stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of V&V frameworks, processes and tools.
• Develop a deep understanding of system architecture, operational capability, and mission requirements.
