Qualifications

• 10+ years experience in Systems Engineering across Defence/aerospace/high-technology programs
• Deep expertise in requirements management, architecture, specialty engineering or verification & validation
• Proven experience delivering systems or subsystems across the lifecycle
• Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving and communication with influence
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in complex environments
• MBSE methods, Agile practices, Defence capability domains or test automation are highly regarded
• NV1 security clearance and ability to handle Export Controlled information
• Proficiency in AI prompting as it applies to this position

Responsibilities

• Lead and support systems engineering activities across complex Defence programs, from requirements to integration, verification and delivery
• Provide specialist expertise in requirements management, systems architecture, specialty engineering, or verification & validation
• Contribute to technical reviews, bids, governance activities and engineering assurance processes
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to solve complex technical and program challenges
• Support the development and continuous improvement of Systems Engineering processes, tools, training and capability
• Mentor and guide engineers while promoting engineering best practice across the organisation
