Job summary

Lockheed Martin Australia seeks a senior Verification & Validation Engineering Specialist to influence Defence and national security programs. You will provide V&V leadership across major programs, shaping verification strategies and guiding complex system integration and testing throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of Defence industry experience across the full engineering lifecycle
• Subject Matter Expert in Systems Architecture, System Integration/V&V, C2, Radar or Communications
• Leadership experience influencing engineering outcomes on large Defence programs
• Deep knowledge of Systems Engineering, Integration and V&V methodologies
• Master’s degree in Engineering or equivalent qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide technical authority and specialist V&V guidance across complex Defence programs
• Lead and assure V&V strategies, methodologies and artefacts across the lifecycle
• Guide resolution of complex system integration, verification and validation challenges
• Provide independent technical reviews across plans, program reviews and milestones
• Engage senior customers and technical authorities to achieve robust engineering outcomes
