Job summary

Lockheed Martin Australia seeks a Systems Architect to shape the AIR6500 System-of-Systems, connecting sensors, C2, and battle management across domains. You will lead MBSE-driven architectural work, guide design decisions, and collaborate with engineering teams and Defence stakeholders to ensure program success.

Candidates should have extensive systems engineering lifecycle experience, SysML expertise, and the ability to obtain Australian NV‑1 clearance.

Qualifications

• Extensive MBSE experience across system-of-systems architectures.
• SysML modelling, diagrams and architectural viewpoints.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements analysis and architectural development for AIR6500 System-of-Systems.
• Maintain functional, allocated and product baselines using MBSE practices.
• Provide architectural oversight for interfaces, traceability and TPMs.
• Lead trade studies, risk assessments and design decisions.
• Define product-level specifications and Statements of Work for suppliers.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and SMEs across the program.
