Job summary

Catalyst Metals Ltd sits at the Plutonic Gold Mine in Western Australia, where a Senior Ventilation and Projects role drives capital and operational projects aligned to mine plans. The role focuses on power, pumping, ventilation, mine services and IT, with an emphasis on improving operational performance and efficiency.

You'll collaborate with geology, underground operations and maintenance, mentoring project and technical staff while supporting growth across the Plutonic Belt and a long-life

Qualifications

• Underground mining experience is required.
• WA FCMMCC practical experience is required.
• Deswik competency is required.
• VentSim competency is preferred.
• Ventilation, project or infrastructure experience is preferred.
• Short-term scheduling experience is preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously with strong time management.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, literacy, numeracy and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Mine Planning team to define infrastructure for safe, efficient mining.
• Contribute to annual capital project budgeting.
• Input into 2-weekly, 3-monthly and quarterly mine schedules for infrastructure.
• Oversee primary and secondary ventilation planning and compliance.
• Provide technical oversight of project scoping, tendering and awarding works.
• Develop Life of Mine strategies for power, pumping, IT, mine water and ventilation.
• Develop safe work plans for project crew activities.
• Mentor project and technical staff in project delivery.
