Job summary

Catalyst Metals Ltd. invites applications for an Underground Mining Supervisor at our Plutonic Gold Mine in WA. You will lead crews, drive safe production, and mentor team members within a long-life operation backed by a strong safety culture and modern assets.

Reporting to the Mine Foreman, you will influence operations, oversee up to 20 crew members, and help deliver improvements across multiple underground styles while upholding regulatory compliance and a focus on continuous development.

Qualifications

• WA Underground Supervisor's Certificate of Competency is essential.
• Knowledge of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act and regulations.
• Current WA C Class Driver's Licence is required.
• First Aid Certificate is mandatory.
• DGSC and National Police Clearance are preferred.
• Extensive underground mining leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Set and uphold high work standards with strong safety leadership.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across underground activities.
• Lead and coordinate a crew of up to 20 to meet production targets.
• Fulfil responsibilities as Statutory Appointed Underground Shift Supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with mining plans, site procedures and regulations.
• Support, mentor and develop underground operators and team members.
• Collaborate with Technical Services to identify improvements in mining methods.
• Work with Technical Services, Maintenance and other stakeholders.
• Drive accountability, performance and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate visible safety leadership and manage risk effectively.
