Job summary

ResMed’s Experience Insights (EXI) team in Sydney is seeking a Senior UX Researcher to lead AI-enabled synthetic audience initiatives and ensure rigorous, evidence-grounded decisions.

You will collaborate across UX, Engineering, Data Science/AI, Product, and platform teams to translate CX needs into scalable AI-enabled solutions and to onboard stakeholders to responsible AI practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on UX research experience with strong judgment and empathy.
• Experience applying AI-enabled methods to research workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain synthetic audience capabilities to accelerate discovery.
• Define guardrails for synthetic audience use.
• Evaluate synthetic outputs for quality, grounding, bias, and hallucination risk.
• Create test questions, evaluation routines, and improvement backlogs.
• Partner with UX researchers to reflect real customer and provider evidence.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science/AI, Product and platform teams.
• Create guidance and onboarding materials for responsible AI use.
• Provide ongoing support for synthetic audience users.
• Define what should be answered by AI vs human research.
