Job summary

Datacom is seeking a Senior Unified Communications Engineer to provide onsite IP voice/UC support for a client environment in Perth, Australia. The role is based at the customer premises and requires Australian citizenship for clearances.

You will design, integrate, monitor, and evolve the UC network, working closely with teams to ensure optimal operations and project delivery. Relevant Cisco/UC certifications and VOSS4UC experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a field related to voice and UC support.
• Professional or tertiary qualifications in Communications Engineering, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with VOSS4UC for provisioning, administration and lifecycle management within a Cisco Unified Communications environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare site design documentation for new sites, including equipment and site parameters under supervision.
• Manage the integration of new sites into the operational network.
• Monitor and manage the performance of the network and perform reconfiguration as required.
• Plan and execute large scale network changes.
• Keep the Team Leader informed on design and performance issues.
