VIS Global Pty Ltd is seeking a Technical Support Senior Engineer (DTE) to provide onsite Level 2/3 UC and contact centre support in Canberra. The role focuses on Avaya Aura, telephony infrastructure, and related UC technologies to ensure reliability and performance of enterprise telephony systems.

The successful candidate will work with Avaya Aura CM/SM/SMGR/AAMS, ASBCE, SIP trunking, and SIP/H.323 protocols, while supporting Linux and VMware environments and maintaining comprehensive technical

Qualifications

4+ years in Tier 2/3 UC and Contact Centre Engineering.
Hands-on Avaya Aura (CM/SM/SMGR/AAMS) expertise.
Experience with Avaya SBC (ASBCE), SIP trunking, SIP/H.323.
Experience with Linux and VMware virtualization.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and incident management skills.
Ability to work onsite and communicate effectively.
Current NV1 security clearance required.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite Level 2 and Level 3 UC, telephony, and contact centre support.
Install, configure, and maintain the Avaya Aura platform components CM/SM/SMGR/AAMS.
Support AES/AAEP, CMS, and Avaya Call Centre Elite.
Configure ASBCE and SIP trunking services.
Diagnose voice, routing, QoS, registration issues (SIP/H.323).
Perform end-to-end VoIP troubleshooting using logs and captures.
Support Linux and VMware virtualization underpinning UC platforms.
Monitor system performance, availability, capacity, and service health.
Maintain documentation and incident records.
Collaborate with infra, network, security, and service delivery teams.
