About the Client

We are seeking an experienced Senior Unified Communications Engineer to join a dynamic team responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Unified Communications (UC) systems. This role involves:

  • Leading the design and deployment of UC solutions, ensuring scalability and security.
  • Developing UC roadmaps and collaborating with architecture and cybersecurity teams.
  • Managing telephony, collaboration platforms, messaging systems, and video conferencing environments.
  • Providing technical expertise and support for UC upgrades and troubleshooting.
  • Researching emerging technologies to inform future strategies.
The Successful Candidate

To excel in this role, you will have:

  • At least 10 years’ experience in designing, deploying, and managing UC systems.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Expertise in solution architecture, network design, and systems integration.
  • Proven ability to develop detailed design and implementation plans.
  • A collaborative approach and excellent problem‑solving capabilities.
  • A relevant degree in Computer Science, Communications, or similar.
  • Knowledge of ASD Essential 8 and ICT security accreditation processes.
  • Familiarity with emerging networking and collaboration technologies.
  • Experience in day‑to‑day UC operations, including voice, video, and VoIP systems.
