Ora Banda Mining Ltd is seeking a Senior Mining Engineer to lead underground development and production at their operation in Western Australia. This role is pivotal for driving operational excellence and requires strong leadership and technical skills. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in mining operations and a relevant tertiary qualification.

The successful candidate will be responsible for optimising mining processes, ensuring safety and compliance, and mentoring a team of engineers while fostering continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in mining operations.
• Current WA C-class driver’s licence.
• First Class Mine Managers Certificate preferred.
• Understanding of relevant legislation and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement optimal underground development and stope designs.
• Prepare and maintain mine development and production schedules.
• Oversee drill and blast designs for safe outcomes.
• Plan and manage the mine dewatering system.
• Monitor daily mining activities and compliance with standards.
