Job summary

Liontown Limited invites applications for an Underground Senior Mine Planning Engineer at the Kathleen Valley lithium operation in Western Australia. This site-based permanent role runs on an 8/6 FIFO roster from Perth, focusing on planning, design and scheduling of underground mining activities.

You will collaborate with geologists and mining engineers to develop and optimise mine plans, support Life of Mine schedules and ensure safe, efficient extraction of resources.

Qualifications

7+ years experience in underground mining engineering focused on planning and design.
Strong knowledge of mine planning principles and best practices.
Ability to work with geologists, engineers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and implement planning, design and scheduling of underground mining activities.
Develop and optimise mine plans considering geological, geotechnical and safety parameters.
Craft Life of Mine and Quarterly schedules to maximise ore recovery.
Design and optimise underground ventilation systems in collaboration with engineers.
Contribute to safe, efficient extraction of mineral resources.
