NES Fircroft is seeking two Senior Underground Mining Engineers for a short-term swing contract in Western Australia. You will support operational readiness, ramp-up activities and transition to steady-state production in an underground lithium operation, working with Technical Services, the Underground Superintendent and the mining contractor.

You will develop and execute plans, provide practical input on design and ventilation, and monitor performance to ensure safety and efficiency.

Competenze

• Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent.
• Current WA Schedule 26 Statutory Certificate.
• WA First Class Mine Manager's Certificate required.
• Experience in mechanised underground mining environments.
• Strong short-term planning and scheduling capabilities.
• Deswik experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Develop and execute underground mine plans, schedules, production forecasts and infrastructure requirements.
• Deliver short-term planning and scheduling activities to support readiness and targets.
• Provide input across underground design, drill and blast, ventilation, geotechnical, pastefill and infrastructure planning.
• Collaborate with operations teams and contractors to ensure plans are practical and aligned with requirements.
• Monitor performance against plan and implement corrective actions.
• Support contractor coordination, performance monitoring and technical compliance.
• Assist in development and improvement of underground planning processes and reporting tools.
