Extreme Transport Solutions in Sydney's NSW region seeks a Senior Transport Allocator to lead truck and dog / hook bin operations from our Hurstville facility. You will coordinate allocations, oversee fleet movements, and optimise resources to ensure reliable, cost-efficient service for our clients.

The role requires at least five years in transport allocation or related logistics, strong leadership, and proficiency with TMS, dispatch software, and telematics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in transport allocation or related logistics.
• Experience with hook bin or waste/recycling operations desirable.
• Proficiency with transport management systems, dispatch software, and telematics.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven leadership experience supervising and developing teams.
• Knowledge of chain of responsibility and safety regulations.
• Detail-oriented with accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Allocate truck and dog units and hook bin resources based on requirements.
• Coordinate and schedule transport operations for timely pickups and deliveries.
• Monitor real-time fleet movements and adjust allocations as needed.
• Liaise with drivers, customers and warehouse staff to communicate details.
• Maintain records of fleet movements and allocations using TMS.
• Identify route improvements to reduce costs while maintaining service.
• Support resolution of customer issues promptly.
• Supervise and train junior allocators.
• Plan capacity with operations management and improve allocation processes.
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations and safety policies.
