Job summary

Westpac Bank is seeking a Transaction Banking SME leader to guide a team of SME Transaction Banking Managers across the state, shaping customer outcomes and revenue growth through capability development and high-performance coaching.

You will partner with the State Manager to uplift Transaction Banking expertise, support complex customer solutions, and drive growth and engagement across SME portfolios.

Qualifications

• Strong people leadership, coaching, and performance management skills.
• Deep understanding of Transaction Banking within the SME segment.
• Ability to drive accountability and performance across frontline teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with expertise in revenue growth, pipeline management, and conversion.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to a team of SME Transaction Banking Managers (TBMs) within your state.
• Drive customer outcomes, revenue growth and operating model excellence by developing team capability, fostering high performance, and ensuring the consistent execution of Transaction Banking strategies across SME portfolios.
• Partner closely with the State Manager and key stakeholders to uplift Transaction Banking expertise, support complex customer solutions, and contribute to growth and engagement objectives.
