Job summary

Westpac is seeking a hands-on leader to drive lending growth in ACT, guiding Mobile and Branch lenders while balancing travel to ACT 2-3 days/week from Sydney. This role combines strategic direction with day-to-day performance coaching.

You will build referral networks, coach lenders to lift capability, and deliver personalised lending solutions in a competitive banking environment, focusing on customer outcomes and team performance.

Qualifications

Experience leading lenders or sales teams in home lending or banking.
Strong understanding of residential lending and customer needs.
Proven ability to build and grow lending pipelines through networks and referrals.
Ability to coach and develop individuals to lift performance.
Comfortable working in a target-driven environment and delivering outcomes.

Responsibilities

Leading a team of lenders to deliver personalised lending solutions.
Driving lending performance and business development activity across your region.
Building and maintaining referral partnerships to generate new business.
Coaching lenders to improve capability, consistency, and results.
Setting a clear standard for customer experience and team performance.
