Job summary

National Tiles is hiring a Senior Trade Assistant at our Alexandria store. You will drive sales, assist customers with projects, and manage warehouse activities including stock, dispatch, and WHS compliance.

This full-time role runs Tuesday to Saturday and offers a competitive hourly rate with super, incentives and great benefits. You will leverage product knowledge to advise customers, build strong relationships, and ensure a smooth end-to-end order experience, from quotes through to delivery,

Qualifications

• Must hold a forklift license.
• Physically capable of handling heavy items (over 25 kg).
• Safety-first mindset and adherence to WHS practices.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and build rapport to drive repeat business.
• Provide expert product advice and recommendations across National Tiles range.
• Upsell, cross-sell and re-engage inactive accounts to maximise sales.
• Manage end-to-end process from quotes to delivery and stock management with accuracy.

Join National Tiles as a SeniorTrade Assistant based at our Alexandriastore, where you will drive sales and provide exceptional customer service by guiding customers through their projects.

Full time - Tuesday - Saturday
$37.12/hr + Super, Incentives & Benefits!

This is a rewarding role where you are tasked with the day-to-day management of our Trade Sales and Warehouse to achieve excellence in operations and customer experience.

You will assist our valued customers with your demonstrated product knowledge, expert advice and commitment to delivering high-quality customer service. You are also required to manage the warehouse including unpacking stock arrivals, picking and preparing customer orders for dispatch, conducting stock takes, carrying our WHS audits, managing staff and general housekeeping.
