Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a pre-sales solutions specialist in Australia & New Zealand to support critical infrastructure networks and projects with Vertiv power products and approved third-party solutions. The role requires electrical power or thermal design qualifications and experience with UPS systems in data centres.

You will provide technical assistance to sales, prepare formal offers and BOMs, and ensure timely delivery of quotations.

Qualifications

Bachelor Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
Market knowledge of DC products and their applications.
Tender processes and application of products.
Excellent competency in reading technical drawings and design specifications.
English writing and presentation skills.
ACAD drawing skills or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Adhere to PSA procedures and practices.
Provide sales staff with technical assistance and support information on Vertiv products.
Review documentation submitted by Sales.
Prepare formal offers with compliance statements and costing schedules.
Source quotes from third party products and services to support offers.
Complete profitability analysis when directed by management.
Design development and trial of DCP Power Solutions for key accounts.
Assist in the development of technical documentation such as drawings and manuals.
