Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC is seeking a Technology Support Lead in our Cash Equities Production Management team. You will oversee APAC production services, ensure stable trade workflows, and mentor the team to uphold operational excellence.

You will drive incident management, reliability metrics, and DR planning, coordinating with AD and QA to minimize risks while maintaining a high‑performance trader experience across DMA and algorithmic trading.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in production support or technology operations within financial services.
• Knowledge of stock borrow/loan and synthetic prime brokerage; experience supporting trade booking platforms.
• Excellent SQL and stored procedures; experience with Sybase and Oracle.
• Proficiency in Linux/UNIX and scripting (Perl, Shell); automate routine tasks.
• Hands-on experience with ITRS Geneos and modern observability practices; alert tuning and runbook automation.
• Understanding of networking and low-latency trading environments; diagnose multi-system issues.
• Strong analysis, problem-solving, and ability to work under pressure with ownership mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for senior stakeholders; ITIL-based processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day technical and operational support for Front and Middle Office apps across APAC; primary escalation point for critical issues.
• Own end‑to‑end support for trade lifecycle applications ensuring resilient operations.
• Build partnerships across teams; communicate status and remediation plans clearly to senior levels.
• Collaborate with Development to implement fixes and stability enhancements; promote SRE/DevOps practices.
• Define, track, and report capacity, resiliency, and reliability metrics; lead DR planning/execution.
• Enhance observability and monitoring for trading applications; evolve tooling and auto‑remediation patterns.
• Manage production incidents end‑to‑end including triage, stakeholder engagement, vendor coordination, communications.
• Lead post‑mortems with AD; document root cause and preventative actions; track follow‑ups in ServiceNow.
• Engage in SDLC to ensure non‑functional readiness and smooth onboarding of new apps.
• Plan and execute application change releases with Business, AD, and QA; include off‑hours/DR activities.
• Uphold Risk & Controls standards; conduct stability reviews; act as regional SME for Prime products.
