Formación

• Essential for this role: strong systems engineering and organisational capability in complex engineering programmes with maritime or naval project experience.
• Experience in requirements management, engineering change management, or verification and validation (V&V), ideally during build, test and acceptance stages.
• Sound understanding of ship design, build and operations and the implications of engineering decisions.
• Strong technical judgement and communication skills to explain complex issues and influence senior stakeholders.
• Ability to operate independently in a complex Defence environment with limited guidance and stakeholder engagement.

Responsabilidades

• Provide engineering expertise, assurance and advice by reviewing technical deliverables, plans and engineering outcomes.
• Coordinate systems change across the ship design and manage technical data and systems change through design and production.
• Support requirements, engineering change and technical risk management; assess design and production issues and compliance with technical requirements.
• Support design integration through verification and validation, identifying practical solutions to enable programme delivery.
• Engage with Commonwealth, Navy and industry stakeholders to build relationships and technical credibility.
