Job summary

Leidos Australia seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to contribute to defence radar systems integration verification. The role focuses on delivering robust systems engineering across the lifecycle, including requirements management, V&V, and design integration for naval programs.

Qualifications

• Strong systems engineering capability in complex defence programmes (maritime/naval focus).
• Experience with requirements management, engineering change, or verification & validation (V&V).
• Solid understanding of ship design, build and operations and related implications.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering expertise, assurance and advice on technical deliverables and engage with senior project stakeholders.
• Coordinate systems change across ship design, including data management and change management through design and into production.
• Support requirements, engineering change and risk management, assessing design, production issues and compliance.
• Support design integration through verification and validation to enable delivery while meeting Directorate requirements.
• Engage Commonwealth, Navy and industry stakeholders to influence outcomes and decisions.
