Job summary

Leidos Gibbs & Cox Australia seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to contribute to complex naval programmes, delivering engineering outcomes that meet technical requirements. You will review deliverables, advise on issues, and coordinate system changes across ship design until production.

In this role, you will engage with Commonwealth, Navy and industry stakeholders, apply rigorous V&V practices, and support design integration while aligning with Engineering Directorate requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong systems engineering capability in complex engineering programmes.
• Experience in requirements management, engineering change management, or verification and validation.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering expertise, assurance and advice by reviewing technical deliverables and plans.
• Coordinate systems change across ship design from design through production.
• Support requirements, engineering change and risk management activities.
