Job summary

ISGroup in Brisbane is seeking a Senior Surveyor to join our expanding operations team on a full-time basis. You will undertake surveys, pre-organise job requirements, and prepare plans and survey data for diverse projects.

The ideal candidate has proven surveying experience, 12D Field knowledge, and strong communication skills, with the flexibility to travel to multiple sites as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics Engineering or TAFE equivalent.
• Relevant certifications (Licensed Surveyor) and professional memberships (SSSI) are preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Undertake surveys as directed by the Operations Manager or Survey Coordinator.
• Pre-organise job requirements and pre-calculations as needed.
• Prepare plans, reduce and compute survey data.

About the role:

We are seeking a Senior Surveyor on a full-time basis to join our expanding team in Brisbane.

Key responsibilities:

• Undertake surveys requested by the Operations Manager and/or Survey Coordinator
• Pre-organise job requirements (plans, field notes, dwg files) and pre-calculations if necessary
• Prepare plans, reduce and compute survey data

You’ll thrive in our team if you have:

• Proven experience as a Surveyor, with a strong understanding of surveying techniques and practices
• 12D Field experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
