Job summary

ISGroup is a progressive surveying and geospatial organisation seeking a Senior Surveyor to join our Brisbane team on a full-time basis. You will undertake surveys, pre-organise job requirements, and prepare survey data with attention to detail and strong communication skills.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Surveying/Geomatics or TAFE equivalent, 12D Field experience, and a valid driver’s license with travel to project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics Engineering or TAFE equivalent.
• Licenced surveyor and professional memberships preferred (SSSI).
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Undertake surveys as directed by the Operations Manager and/or Survey Coordinator.
• Pre-organise job requirements (plans, field notes, dwg files) and pre-calculations if necessary.
• Prepare plans, reduce and compute survey data.

About the role:

We are seeking a Senior Surveyor on a full-time basis to join our expanding team in Brisbane.

Key responsibilities:

• Undertake surveys requested by the Operations Manager and/or Survey Coordinator
• Pre-organise job requirements (plans, field notes, dwg files) and pre-calculations if necessary
• Prepare plans, reduce and compute survey data

You'll thrive in our team if you have:

• Proven experience as a Surveyor, with a strong understanding of surveying techniques and practices
• 12D Field experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Key requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics Engineering or TAFE equivalent
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Licensed Surveyor) and professional memberships (e.g., SSSI) are preferred
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various project sites
