Job summary

McConnell Dowell – Creative Construction in Western Australia seeks an experienced Survey Manager to lead all surveying activities on the Kwinana Freeway Widening Project. You will drive survey strategy, set out and as-built delivery, and ensure timely, accurate data to support safe construction.

Working with project managers, engineers and delivery teams, you will oversee resources, governance and QA, while leading a disciplined, collaborative survey function on a landmark infrastructure

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading survey teams on major civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical expertise in construction surveying, control networks and as-built delivery.
• Ability to manage survey resources, priorities and project outcomes.
• Collaborative approach with engineering and construction teams.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Relevant surveying qualification; road, rail or transport project experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all survey activities across the project lifecycle.
• Establish and maintain project survey control and governance systems.
• Manage survey teams, subcontractors, equipment and resources.
• Provide technical leadership to engineers and construction teams.
• Oversee set-out, verification and as-built survey delivery.
• Ensure quality and survey outcomes support construction programmes and project objectives.
