Job summary

McConnell Dowell is seeking experienced Project Engineers for the Kwinana Freeway Widening Project in Perth, Western Australia. You will provide technical leadership, coordinate across civil, electrical and ITS packages, and work with alliance partners to deliver on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates hold Civil, Electrical or Construction Engineering degrees and have a track record delivering major infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil, Electrical or Construction Engineering.
• Experience delivering major infrastructure, transport, roads, utilities or civil construction projects.
• Strong planning, coordination and subcontractor management capability.
• Sound commercial awareness and cost management skills.
• Collaborative approach and ability to build effective relationships across project teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and coordination across construction packages.
• Plan and coordinate construction activities to meet schedule.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure quality and safety standards.
• Monitor costs and drive project outcomes within budget.
• Collaborate with Superintendents, Site Engineers and Alliance partners.
