Job summary

McConnell Dowell is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to join our Adelaide Terrace office overlooking the Swan River. The role will provide commercial leadership across project delivery, head contracts and subcontractor governance, supporting WA and SA operations.

This opportunity targets candidates from Tier 1/2 environments, offering influence beyond contract administration and a path to shape outcomes across alliances and joint ventures.

Qualifications

• Significant Commercial Management experience within infrastructure, construction or engineering projects.
• Tier 1 and/or Tier 2 contractor experience preferred.
• Strong capability in contract administration, cost control and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial administration of head contracts and subcontract agreements.
• Drive project cost control, forecasting and commercial reporting.
• Identify, manage and mitigate commercial risk and opportunity.
• Support procurement and supply chain commercial strategies.
• Partner with project leadership teams to optimise project performance.
• Build effective relationships with clients, partners, subcontractors and suppliers.
