Job summary

AECOM Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Structural Designer with 7 to 15 years of experience in materials handling projects to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in AutoCAD, Advanced Steel for steel structures design and Revit for concrete design, with familiarity to Inventor, Plant 3D and NAVISWORKS highly desirable.

The role requires a self-motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative multi-disciplinary environment and can deliver high‑quality

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Structural Design, Civil Engineering or related field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Advanced Steel for design/detailing.
Proficiency in Revit for concrete design/detailing.
7–15 years experience in structural design, materials handling projects.
Certification or training in AutoCAD, Advanced Steel, Revit is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed structural designs and drawings for materials handling projects using AutoCAD, Advanced Steel and Revit.
Create and manage 3D models for steel structures and concrete, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Identify design challenges and propose innovative solutions.
Work with limited supervision and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Collaborate with engineers and designers to deliver cohesive project outcomes.
Take ownership of assigned tasks to deliver results with limited supervision.
