AECOM Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Structural Designer with 7 to 15 years of experience in materials handling projects to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in AutoCAD, Advanced Steel for steel structures design and Revit for concrete design, with familiarity to Inventor, Plant 3D and NAVISWORKS highly desirable.

Formación

• Diploma or degree in Structural Design, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Advanced Steel for design/detailing.
• Proficiency in Revit for concrete design/detailing.
• 7–15 years experience in structural design, materials handling projects.
• Certification or training in AutoCAD, Advanced Steel, Revit is an advantage.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Structural Designer with 7 to 15 years of experience in Materials Handling Projects to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise in AutoCAD, Advanced Steel for steel structures design & Revit for concrete design in addition familiarity with Inventor, Plant 3D & NAVISWORKS or other 3D modelling software being highly desirable. This role requires a self-motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment and can deliver high-quality design solutions.

How you’ll make a difference

• Develop detailed structural designs and drawings for materials handling projects using AutoCAD and Advanced Steel & Revit
• Create and manage 3D models for steel structures & concrete, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications
• Proactively identify design challenges and propose innovative solutions
• Ability to work with limited supervision and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including engineers and other designers, to deliver cohesive and coordinated project outcomes
• Take ownership of assigned tasks to deliver results with limited supervision.

The qualities that help you thrive

• Diploma or degree in Structural Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Advanced Steel for structural design and detailing
• Proficiency in Revit for concrete design and detailing
• Between 7 and 15 years of experience in structural design, specifically in materials handling projects
• Certification or training in AutoCAD, Advanced Steel, Revit, or other relevant design tools is an advantage.
