Job summary

AECOM Brisbane is seeking a Senior Structural Designer with 15+ years of experience in materials handling projects to join our dynamic team. You will develop detailed structural designs and drawings using AutoCAD, Advanced Steel and Revit, with familiarity in Inventor, Plant 3D and Navisworks.

You will work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment, participate in design reviews, and deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Structural Design or Civil Engineering.
• 15+ years of experience in structural design, specifically in materials handling projects.
• Certification or training in AutoCAD, Advanced Steel, or other relevant design tools is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed structural designs and drawings for materials handling projects using AutoCAD and Advanced Steel & Revit.
• Create and manage 3D models for steel structures and concrete, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Designer with a minimum of 15 years of extensive experience in Materials Handling Projects to join our dynamic team. Theideal candidate will possess advanced technical expertise in AutoCAD, AdvancedSteel for Steel structures design & Revit for concrete design in addition familiaritywith Inventor, Plant 3D & NAVISWORKS or other 3D modelling software being highlydesirable. This role requires a self-motivated professional who thrives in a collaborative,multi-disciplinary environment and can work independently to deliver high-qualitydesign solutions.

• Create and manage 3D models for steel structures & concrete, ensuringaccuracy and compliance with project specifications

• Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, including engineers andother designers, to deliver cohesive and coordinated project outcomes

• Take ownership of assigned tasks, working independently to deliverresults with minimal supervision
• Proactively identify design challenges and propose innovative solutions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Structural Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Advanced Steel for structuraldesign and detailing
• Advanced proficiency in Revit for concretedesign and detailing
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in structural design, specifically in materialshandling projects
• Certification or training in AutoCAD, Advanced Steel, or other relevant designtools is an advantage.
