Job summary

Bunnings Group in Australia is seeking a Senior Supervisor to lead a store team, ensure safety, stock levels and a great customer experience.

You’ll work with the leadership team, coach staff, manage opening/closing, and drive efficiency across a seven-day roster. This is a full-time role with an adult pay rate of $31.93 per hour for 18+.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail or customer-facing leadership or supervisory role.
• Confidence supporting store operations, including safety, stock management and customer service.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems in a practical way.
• A focus on safety and creating a positive environment for team members and customers.
• Availability to work across a rotating roster, including opening and closing shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the front, creating a welcoming, safe and well-presented store environment that sets the tone for a great customer experience.
• Support day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing, and stepping into site leadership when required.
• Coach and guide team members on the shop floor, helping them deliver knowledgeable and helpful service.
• Keep the store running smoothly through effective workforce planning, stock flow and replenishment.
• Drive a strong safety culture by promoting safe practices and supporting team wellbeing.
• Resolve customer queries in a practical, helpful way that builds trust and loyalty.
• Look for better ways of working, improving efficiency and supporting the rollout of new tools or processes.
• Play a key role in onboarding and developing team members, supporting their growth and confidence on the job.
