Armada Accountants and Advisors in Perth seeks a Senior SMSF Accountant to manage a portfolio of SMSF clients, preparing financial statements and tax returns with strong technical knowledge of Australian tax and superannuation law.

You will support junior team members, liaise with trustees and auditors, and contribute to the ongoing success of the SMSF division while enjoying a friendly, flexible work environment in Osborne Park.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified Accountant with CA or CPA certification.
• 5+ years experience preparing SMSF financial statements and tax returns.
• Excellent knowledge of Australian tax and superannuation law.
• High attention to detail.
• Professional demeanour liaising with clients and colleagues.
• Knowledge of Class or BGL software desirable.
• Excellent written and oral English.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of SMSF clients and prepare financial statements and tax returns.
• Ensure accurate compliance documentation for SMSF clients.
• Collaborate with trustees, financial advisers and auditors.
• Support junior team members and contribute to SMSF division success.
