Job summary

RSM Australia is seeking a dedicated SMSF Accountant to join its Perth Business Advisory team. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing high-quality compliance services for Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs) within a supportive and collaborative team.

The ideal candidate will possess a Business/Commerce degree with an Accounting major and have 1–2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency with Class Super and strong communication skills are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency with Class Super.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare SMSF work papers and financial statements in line with current legal and accounting standards.
• Liaise with SMSF auditors and resolve queries promptly.
• Identify and address relevant accounting and compliance issues.
• Assist with client meetings and prepare supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with lodgement programmes and deadlines.
