Job summary

Presidio Super Pty Limited, a boutique Sydney CBD accounting firm established in 1984, seeks an Intermediate Accountant – Superannuation to grow expertise in SMSF preparation and administration within a supportive team.

You will prepare SMSF financial statements and annual returns, liaise with auditors, and assist with compliance while developing your career in superannuation through CA/CPA study support and flexible work options.

Qualifications

• Experience in SMSF accounting and financial statements is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare SMSF financial statements and annual returns.
• Prepare SMSF workpapers and supporting documentation.
• Liaise with auditors and respond to audit queries.
• Assist with SMSF compliance requirements and regulatory obligations.
• Process pension commencements, rollovers and other fund transactions.
• Liaise with the ATO, clients and other professionals to ensure timely completion of work.
• Assist senior team members with superannuation and compliance matters.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure internal procedures are followed.
